Liverpool’s 81 LTD is essentially the James Bond of the bar world: it’s supposed to be secret, it’s very good at what is does and obviously knows how to make a mean martini, but everyone knows about it. Don’t worry about that though, because the team behind this sought after speakeasy located upstairs in Salt Dog Slim’s restaurant have another – yes, another – sleek and secretive venue above that: 83, which has now been decked out as an adult’s grotto for ‘Miracle on Seel St’. Christmas really has come early.
